Honeywell Energy Management Systems Certification Course
This program introduces the Opus, Logic One and the Spectrum hardware as it pertains to the installation process in a typical Walmart / Sam’s Club operation and most Honeywell equipped businesses. This is a Hardware familiarization course and not an electrical course. General print reading and specification understanding will be generalized as well as hands on labs in putting the hardware into operation. This program will focus on the requirements of the EMS Contractor’s responsibilities as it relates to the hardware process in Walmart stores. Opus, Logic One and Spectrum hardware, hands-on, wiring specifications, and diagnostics will be the main topics of discussion.
**NOTE** Completion of this program includes passing a hands-on lab and a written examination.
Prospective technicians, installers, technical support staff, and others interested in becoming certified technicians for the familiarization and installation of Honeywell equipment.

You must be a Honeywell customer or established vendor. For information on becoming a customer or vendor please call (800)-341-7795. Students MUST have the ability to read prints/building plans, a working knowledge in the use of an electrical meter, a good working knowledge of relay logic, general building construction knowledge and processes, and have a working knowledge of general Safety practices.
10 students (5 student minimum to conduct a class)
4 days - Monday through Thursday
Monday 12:00 P.M – 5:00 P.M.
Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M.
*Lunch is provided each day.
Concluded when last student finishes the exam and then review.
No early dismissal will be granted for travel arrangements. (No exceptions)
Students who successfully complete the class will be awarded a certificate and a certification badge. They will be listed on the Honeywell / Walmart Support Certified Installers report under the current company they are employed. This is an INDIVIDUAL certification and not a company certification. This certification transfers with the individual. Course completion requires passing a written exam (80%) and hands on practical (100%).

Once your registration has been received you will be contacted for billing and payment information. Class deadline to register and have an established account is 2 weeks prior to the class. If the minimum of 5 students is not achieved, then the class maybe cancelled. ALL CLASSES ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
The class tuition fee is $450 per student. Must be paid for in advance of class. Call (800) 341-7795 to make payment. Students are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
There is no refund if you cancel, you will have the option of another date for the class provided seats are available.
